Happy New Year!  Below please find a summary of the key highlights from our January Board of Education reorganization meeting:

• Mr. Neal Goldstein and Mrs. Julie Digiacomo were sworn into office as Board Members for their three-year term based on the results of the November election
• Mrs. Gross provided plaques to the new Board members ( Board members picture )
• Mrs. Gross summarized literacy professional development delivered in Dec and increased focus on leveled, independent reading
• The Board reviewed and discussed the 2015-2016 district calendar, for approval at next meeting  ( calendar draft )
• The Board approved:
  • 2015 Board of Education meeting schedule
  • Solutions Architecture Corp. as our architect of record
  • Preschool tuition increase for  the 2015-2016 school year to $3,200
  • Acceptance of retirement for Marianne Hans McNeilly
• The next regular Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2014 at 7:30pm in the Noecker Media Center
