We look forward to seeing you this evening and tomorrow for our Back to School nights. Our teachers are ready to share what your child will be learning and experiencing throughout the school year. We will kick off the evening with our Education Fair followed by a presentation in the MPR. The evening will end with you meeting your child’s teacher. Below is the schedule (please refer to the updated letter we sent out earlier today):
Grades PreK-2 – Wednesday, September 13, 2023
6:00 - 6:30 pm Education Fair (Sierchio Gym)
6:30 - 7:00 pm Welcome, Introductions & HSA Presentation (Multi-purpose room)
7:00 - 7:30 pm Meeting with Teachers (Classrooms)
Grades 3-6 – Thursday, September 14, 2023
6:00 - 6:30 pm Education Fair (Sierchio Gym)
6:30 - 7:00 pm Welcome, Introductions & HSA Presentation (Multi-purpose room)
7:00 - 7:30 pm Meeting with Teachers (6 th grade parents in MPR, 5 th grade in Media Center)
Digital Safety Presentations
The importance of educating students and parents on digital safety cannot be overstated. Thus, on October 4th, we will be hosting assemblies for students in grades 3-6 and a presentation in the evening for parents. Retired police officer, Dwayne Peace, will join us to share his knowledge about the responsible use of technology as well as preventing digital abuse. We hope you will join us to learn more about the ever-changing cyberworld. Please click here to learn more.
NJSLA Scores, Grade 4-6
Your third, fourth, or fifth-grader took the NJSLA last year. We received the scores this week and they are in the mail. The individual report includes a cover letter with information as well as a link to a digital version of the letter. Please be on the lookout for the mailing.
Integrated Pest Management
As required by the New Jersey Department of Education, please see attached Integrated Pest Management (IPM) letter.
Back to School Nights
