A Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal

We completed our parent-teacher conferences today.  This was an opportunity for you to not only discuss academic progress, but to strengthen the home-school connection.  As we move forward, and closer to spring break, we have many activities planned: field trips, a visit from our mayor, our school play, and more!  Read on!

Wellness Week

This school year, we are celebrating Wellness Week, April 3rd through April 6th . We have a variety of great experiences for the children to participate in and to embrace wellness:

• Monday focuses on Mindfulness and saying ‘Thank you” for what we have.

• Tuesday and Wednesday , we are changing up what we eat and drink and making healthy choices in how we snack. The students are encouraged to bring in healthy fruits, veggies, and drinks for their own snack.

• Thursday , classes will have a special guest (a student visitor from the 6th grade) and play a game of Simon Says Please, practicing some exercises.  Also, on Thursday, there will be a basketball game: students vs. staff .

During physical education classes, the children will be moving respectfully and doing an obstacle course.  Maschio’s will also be putting together a fun and healthy menu that week! 

Manners to Go

Last week students learned about the importance of greeting people.  This week the focus was how to introduce yourself.  For the week of March 27th, teachers will be targeting conversation skills!
Spring Concert  

It’s that time of year again where students get to show off their musical talents!  The Noecker Spring Concert is scheduled for May 17th.   We will follow a similar format with daytime and evening performances.  Please be on the lookout for an e-blast as the date approaches.

The Department of Special Services and the Roseland SEPAC would like to invite you to our next upcoming Parent Workshop, scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, 2023 @ 7PM (via Zoom).
